To find Backyards surf spot you need to turn
left off of Kamehameha Hwy into Oopuola St. Park somewhere
at the end of the street before the street starts to turn
right. Follow the path to the beach and enjoy great barreling
waves with mild crowd. This spot has a steep takeoff and
the reef can be very shallow during low tide. Best when
winds are low and the swell direction is WNW. |
